KashFlow

KashFlow Accounting Software is created with small business owners in mind with no complex accountancy background in mind.

From its humble beginnings it has gained massive popularity and feedback from early users, it is now a fully fledged accounting product and has gone on to win a Software Satisfaction Award.

KashFlow has a fundamentally different pricing model to the other software we’ve reviewed here, because it sold as “software as a service”, it also initially offers a free 60-day trial period as opposed to others which only offers 30-day free trial. At £15.99 per month, it is also one of the most affordable software products for accounting in the market.

KashFlow’s popularity is largely due to it’s simple user interface, which in the world of accounting software is very rare!

Adding elements such as new customers and suppliers can be done easily using the KashFlow interface as well as invoicing and managing cash books, but that is a small part of the system when you look at the powerful API that a wide range of shopping carts and additional products are now adopting. The API puts KashFlow single-handedly above many of the home desktop products that have a one-off price, the subscription charge is worth every penny when you realise your accounts are done on autopilot by KashFlow.

Aside from the basic accounting features like invoicing and purchasing, it also comes with a lot of tweaks like automatic customer invoicing and reminder emails for overdue invoices. The only negative we’ve found is that KashFlow doesn’t have any payroll functions, however users can sign up to 12Pay, which is a UK government approved payroll product which can be easily integrated to KashFlow (that API again!).

KashFlow is not only integrated with PayPal but is also certified by them. This is especially useful to merchants and small businesses that have been using PayPal for a long time as this allow them to integrate their PayPal sales history with KashFlow.

KashFlow has gained a lot of credibility over the years in its home market and is well acclaimed for what they can offer, especially to micro businesses, why not signup for the free 60 day trial today and see if it can improve your business!
